6 New Pieces In My Wardrobe
1. Equipment blouse.
A silk blouse is so effortless. I wore this the other day with faux leather leggings, black boots, and my IRO jacket. Such a chic and stylish outfit. I remember seeing a blouse like this on an old picture of Kate Moss where she’s wearing a pink button-down blouse with gray skinny jeans when skinny jeans were on trend. She looked cool with a pair of heels. That’s the picture i have in my head about this silk blouse.
The one thing I would recommend is that if you’re on the bustier side, find one without pockets. It is on the pricier side but worth it because it’s a classic blouse you’ll have for years that is versatile.
2. Lana jewelry gold bracelet.
This bracelet is so delicate and beautiful for stacking. I wear it with my Maya Brenner initial bracelet. I am obsessed with it. I’ve looked for so long for a delicate gold bracelet that I can stack and wear all the time. It’s taken me a long time to find this one.
3. Frame high waisted straight leg jeans with a raw hem.
For me and my curvy body type, the key to making straight leg jeans work is that they’re a little bit shorter than skinny jeans. Also that they’re pretty fitted on the hip and thigh, and that there’s some kind of interest at the bottom whether it’s a raw hem, a frayed edge, or a step hem. That’s what really works when you’re on the curvier and petite side. If you don’t know Frame jeans, I recommend them all the time to my clients. They have a natural stretch to them. They’re completely worth the price tag. I wear mine all the time and I love them.
4. Rose cardigan by 525.
I can wash this at home and of course hang it to dry. It’s a great alternative to my cashmere cardigans. This is a great lightweight cardigan that you don’t have to give the same care that you would for cashmere. I’ve worn this with a dress and a t-shirt and jeans. It’s super versatile and so cute.
5. Black ATM cotton jumpsuit.
I love that this cotton jumpsuit has an elastic bottom. You can pull it up to hit at mid-calf which if you’re curvy makes you look proportionate. It has a little zipper in the back. The fabric is a thicker t-shirt material which is so cozy. I wear this with my Golden Goose sneakers, a cardigan or jacket and an elevated crossbody bag. It’s so chic and easy for this time of year and for summer.
6. Veronica Beard black sandals.
These sandals were a great deal. I found them at Nordstrom Rack online. They were originally just under $300 but I got them for under $90. They are perfect for the summer.
I love to shop the sales and find those items from the designers I love and recommend them to my newsletter subscribers.
